Would you rather write a high school research paper on Play-Doh or Snowboarding ? I said Play-Doh. People disagreed. I said Play-Doh again. People still disagreed. I said Play-Doh again. I was challenged to write a high school research paper on Play-Doh of at least 2,000 words. I met the challenge. Don't bother counting the words. There are over 2,000.

Sherri used to be a photographer for a newspaper...so she came by and taught Rob + Lauren + Erin about photography...she briefly explained aperture and f-stop and then gave us a homework assignment....

Because we learn by doing....not by talking.........unless...you are learning about talking...then it's ok...

anyway....the Homework Assignment is...

...take out a piece of paper...put your name up in the corner....

Since college, did you forget how to learn? Did all you want was for the research papers to stop and to never read another book again? Did you barely finish college just so you could have that magical piece of paper that was supposed to increase your average annual salary? After the last four plus years, have you merely regressed into a jobless video game addict like when you were a child?

Even as we write this sentence, we feel we have writer's block and haven't even tried to write a sentence in years, and all the while, wishing from deep inside our hearts that we were able to exhibit a skill of some kind and use it in the world for good. We wish we could play an instrument, or speak a second language. We wish we could take a decent picture, or sew a button back on one of our many buttonless shirts.

So we are taking it upon ourselves to fill our knowledge cup with........knowledge....but not from an accredited school...that doesn't fit into our schedule...that will take our money....and leave us looking good on paper but hollow on the inside....

We want functional learning...and we want it now...and for free...and let it be known there is fun in functional...so we started the School of Unsupervised Learning....

By attending the School of Unsupervised Learning...you probably won't amount to anything...but you certainly won't amount to nothing.

I promise.

You won't get any certificates at the School of Unsupervised Learning...
You won't get any diplomas at the School of Unsupervised Learning....
You won't get any degrees at the School of Unsupervised Learning....
and you definitely will not look good on paper at the School of Unsupervised Learning....

But you will get knowledge for the sake of knowledge...ok ???
